A mother has told how she fought for justice for her daughter after she became a victim of revenge porn by the most 'hated man on the internet' Hunter Moore.
Charlotte Laws, 55, details in her new book 'Rebel in High Heels' how she helped take down one of the most infamous pushers of online revenge porn.
She says the inspiration for her fight begun in 2012 after her daughter, Kayla, revealed in an emotional phone call that a topless selfie of her had been posted onto a website.
Fightback: Charlotte Laws, 55, left, says the inspiration for her fight came after her daughter, Kayla, right, revealed in a tearful phone call in 2012 that a topless photograph of her had been posted onto a website

Site owner: Hunter Moore, 29, the founder of the website, IsAnyoneUp.com, was nicknamed the 'Most Hated Man on the Internet' and often refused to take down any of the images
Laws told The New York Post: 'That's the worst thing to hear as a mother. I wasn't expecting to hear about revenge porn, because I didn't know what that was. So I had to educate myself, quickly.
Kayla's topless selfie was uploaded to the website IsAnyoneUp.com - a site which boasted hundreds of photographs featuring half-dressed women, many nude, and many unsuspecting.
Many of the images were sent in by angry ex-boyfriends and many were stolen from home computers.
The founder of the website, Hunter Moore, 29, was nicknamed the 'Most Hated Man on the Internet' because he often refused to take down any of the images and reveled in his notoriety.
Kayla confessed to her mom how she had taken at least 100 topless selfies in her bedroom mirror at home in Southern California in October 2011.
She then sent them through e-mail to her computer to save them.
The aspiring actress said she was horrified to find out that they had been uploaded to a website site and was baffled about how they got there.
She soon realized she'd been hacked as she hadn't shared the images with anyone.

Mother's fight: Laws spoke with nine lawyers, including Moore's all the while pleading with Moore, right, to remove the photo of Kayla - but he refused
Worryingly, the half-naked photograph online was accompanied by her name, her city, and Twitter account.
'I never blamed her,' Laws told The New York Post in an interview but she did fear the damage the photos would do to Kayla's reputation.
She went full speed ahead trying to get the photos taken down, earning herself the nickname 'the Erin Brockovich of revenge porn.'
She spoke with nine lawyers, including Moore's, all the while pleading with Moore to remove the photo - but he refused.
'He was calling himself a professional 'life-ruiner.' He was calling his site pure evil. He was loving harassing, humiliating and embarrassing these [people] - mostly women, because 90 per cent of the victims were female.'
Then she came across Jeffrey Lyon, the president of Black Lotus Communications - the Internet security company that handled Moore's website.
'He was extremely receptive to helping,' Laws says. 'He was able to block the page that had Kayla's nude picture. But Hunter went around Jeffrey's efforts and created a new page for Kayla,' Laws said.
The police and FBI didn't help at first, but during one phone call to the precinct she said: 'Oh I see, you help Scarlett Johansson when her picture gets hacked, but you don't help the average person.' And that's when the guy goes [sigh], 'All right, just a minute, let me transfer you to a detective.'
Notorious: Laws said 'He was calling himself a professional 'life-ruiner.' He was calling his site pure evil. He was loving harassing, humiliating and embarrassing these [people] - mostly women.
Soon, three agents came to her house. Then her husband, retired attorney Charles Parselle threatened Moore's lawyer with court action if something was not done immediately.
Nine days after the photo was put online, it was removed.
Afterwards Laws fought to get the site IsAnyoneUp.com removed completely from the internet in a bid to help other women in similar situations.
She contacted women who had been hacked and offered them advice on what to do. But she was up against Moore who had 600,000 Twitter followers.
Laws claims she was sent computer viruses, received anonymous death threats and spotted strangers watching her in public during her crusade against Moore.
Finally, in 2012, she handed the FBI a file full of information on the women she'd spoken too and they raided Moore at the Sacramento, California house he shared with his parents.
In April 2012, Moore abruptly sold his domain name to James McGibney, founder of the anti-bullying website, BullyVille.com.
Moore explained his decision, telling The Village Voice: 'I'm sick of f – – king people calling me a 'f – – – – t' and telling me to kill myself.'
In January 2014 he and 'Gary Jones,' real name Charlie Evens, the alleged hacker who helped him, were arrested.
Moore and Evens were charged with 15 felonies, including seven counts of aggravated identity theft and seven counts of unauthorized computer access.
Evens, who pleaded not guilty, faces up to 42 years behind bars.
In February, Moore accepted a plea deal and will be sentenced on June 24 in Los Angeles. He faces up to seven years in prison.
